The Cocoon: So Much More Than A Roof   In Australia, at least 122,000 people experience homelessness any given night, with young people aged 12-24 making up 24% of this.   Bridge It provides homes, community and support programs to young women leaving residential or foster care. When unsupported, the transition out of residential or foster care can be a significant pathway to homelessness for young people.    The Cocoon program was created to bridge this critical gap by providing young women a place to stay, recover, develop life skills, and prepare for long-term housing.  "The Cocoon is so much more than a roof, we believe in our young residents and we support them in all areas of their lives.
