Well 2025, it's been fun! We've launched 30+ new colours and styles, hosted many events across the globe, opened our first-ever retail store and even welcomed two merry babies to the team! Check out just a few of the merry memories made…
Be sure to stick around, because 2026 is shaping up to be a merry, adventurous, and colourful year not to be missed!
At this time of year I always feel a little reflective and nostalgic. (Maybe more so this year as I approach a milestone birthday…I turn 40!). Whether you're new to Merry People, or you have been following since my market days - thank you! Thank you for choosing to follow and support our journey. We all wouldn't be here without all the support we get from you, our customers, every single day! As a business, I feel we are moving from a childhood phase into adolescence - learning some very real realities of being a retail business; the impacts of tariffs, learning to grow teams and taking some big steps like opening the doors of our very first retail store in the heart of Melbourne. I have at times felt a little foggy over the last couple of years, learning to manage the growth of a global business while becoming a mum...twice! I would not say it's been a period where I have done my 'best work!' but I turned up and did my best to lead and hold on what I believe to be the essence and magic of Merry People. I am so proud of my team - how they show up everyday, the genuine care they show to their work and the Merry People brand. This year I was fortunate to do more customer events in Australia, the US, and the UK. I walked away from each event realising it was what I miss & love about my job - connecting with our customers. So that will be a BIG focus for me in 2026 (watch this space!). On behalf of the Merry People team and my family - we wish you the most wonderful end to the year and hope that 2026 is the year of doing more things to 'fill your cup!' and all the things that make your heart feel merry! Love Dani x
COLOUR & JOY FROM THE GROUND UP Merry People acknowledge and pay our deepest respect to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation - the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and gather.
