Driven by our commitment to make the world a merrier place, this program does exactly that. ​ With the help of our partners Save the Children and UPPAREL, you can donate your well-worn Merry People shoes to be resold or recycled - saving them from landfill. ​ Keep the joyful journey going and give your shoes a second life! About Our Recycling Program

Over the past year, more than 100 pairs of Merry People shoes have been collected through our partner Save the Children - giving every pair a chance to be resold or reused before being recycled. We're also excited to share that​ all Save the Children locations across Australia are now accepting pre-loved Merry People shoes! ​ With the help of our new recycling partner, UPPAREL, we’ve also kept 310.50 kilograms of Merry People materials out of landfill. That’s 1,087 kilograms of greenhouse gas pollution prevented!​ Learn How The Program Works

Save the Children believes in a circular economy. By giving donated items a second life, proceeds from every sale helps build a fairer, safer world for children; funding food, clean water, healthcare, and education.​ UPPAREL is a textile recycling company built to protect and preserve the planet for the next generation. Each and every item that comes to UPPAREL avoids landfills, helping decrease greenhouse gases and overall waste.​
