Totem (the OTHER kind)

Over the years, lots of people have told me about their totem animals. I've never had one - until now.

Litoria peronia, sometimes known as The Maniacal Cackle Frog.

We're indexing photos of local amphibians at the moment. This is a fantastic website. It's only slightly ironic that my parting words on leaving general reference work in a public library were "at least I'll never have to do another *&*()!@! frog homework assignment again".

I have been knitting, I just haven't been blogging - promise to update soon-ish.

Excellent frog name and noise, there! I wonder how it would react to a set of DPNs...?

Enjoy the frog pics! That reminds me - I need to get some frog recordings from my FIL to some ANU project thingy...

It seems that frog homework will probably be my lot one day - I'll try not to bug the local librarian! I can't think of a better totam to have than an amphibian : )

Oooh goody - howework help online. This kid is going to learn typing and email in record time ; ) At some stage and I'm going to beg the neck down matine jacket patter from you. Despite keeping an eye out for vintage patterns, I have yet to find one as lovely as yours looks when completed : )
