Are you being servietted?

New/old napkins on the washing line this morning.

I bought 17 cloth napkins recently in navy, yellow, red, green and cream at a garage sale for $2 and another 8 navy napkins at the tip shop for $1.    These are going into the big box under the house where we keep our catering sets of glasses and other barbecue and party paraphernalia.  I loathe plastic cups and glasses and much prefer cloth to paper napkins.

Bargains - but all that ironing *sigh*

Cloth napkins are classier and more environmentally friendly but unfortunately the laziness factor (and a deep-rooted hatred of ironing) sees me reaching for the paper version.

I agree on the ironing factor. I hate it. But I love a cloth napkin.

And your cherries in all their many forms made me hungry! And now I miss cherries.....

Wouldn't folded, unironed cloth napkins be preferable to paper ones? In all these random colours, I think they would look fashionably casual.
