Seven Things Week 9

Shit got really real this week - I started evaluating the yarn stash.  I began with yarn that had been stored in the sewing room, most of which I had forgotten about.  This was meant to make it easier.  I guess it did.

Some of the yarn is going on the Guild trading table and some straight into the donate bag, but some of it I'm selling.  Selling is hard work - photograph, list, negotiate, weigh, box, take to Post Office.  It has to be a substantial amount to make it worthwhile.  I'm allowing myself to spend what I make on knitting or sewing related things, so that's a bit of an incentive.

The average keep rate per box of yarn is about half.  That's not a bad average so far.

I really want to sew my own, but until I clear more stuff out of this house, I don't have the space or the time.
