Seven Things Week 37

I know the ins look bad, but 31 of those patterns will be going just as soon as a new home is found - really they will. And look at the amount of yarn that's gone! Tip of the iceberg, of course, but true progress from where I'm sitting.

Of course tomorrow is the festival of yarn whoredom. Luckily I'm staffing the SnB stand all day, so will try to restrict myself to the set of dpns and top whorl spindle already ordered. No promises, though.

You're still an inspiration! Mine's still going with mixed results - but it still goes on!!

I'm intrigued by the notion of a pair of french knickers being shaken all about.
Have fun at the markets tomorrow. I would like to be there, but I know I would show no self restraint at all.

At least you can rest assured that your outs are still so many more than your ins!

289 balls out?!? That's really impressive. Lucky recipients! Have fun at the Festival of Yarn.

(PS: I'm with m1k1. What exactly did you do with those knickers to shake them all about? I have this vision involving burlesque dancing...)

Oh you lot are RUDE! I made them. Actually, I was very wasteful and made them on the bias so they took heaps of fabric and look and feel divine. It's a pretty set and there are a few more cut out and waiting to be sewn.

Good thing you explained, 'cause I was wondering about those knickers, too. Funny, all those items and it's the knickers that get all the notice.

I LOVE French knickers, as opposed to tap pants. I love that they don't cling to the bott but leave a lovely and alluring shape. Really, cutting the fabric on the bias is the only way to get that effect.

What was all that yarn that wented?

The only things any of you noitced were the knickers and then the yarn. Knitters, you have two track minds!

The yarn was a huge amount of novelty stuff that I finally found a willing home for, some feltables for a friend, some baby stuff for another friend and some absolute ick that just went to the op-shop. There will be more in the next few weeks.

I'm looking forward to hearing about the Celebration of Wool and getting the scoop on all the S.E.X that went on that day.
