Tips from the Vault: Blanket Storing

CLEANING
LAUNDRY, IRONING, GENERAL CLEANING

Blanket Storing: Blankets and woollens which are to be stored during the summer can be kept free from vermin if mint, previously dried in the sun or oven, is sprinkled between them and the articles rolled in newspaper. Be sure to fasten each end securely and store the parcels on airy shelves.

Good technique! Do you reckon it would work with jumpers as well? Or do you reckon it would work at ALL? ;) All that newsprint...

Jejune! Has Jeeves taught you nothing? One ALWAYS irons one's newsprint to set the ink. Still, wouldn't try it on one's cream angora cardie. The paper would definitely provide a barrier. Things that might eat wool, might also eat paper but it would take them a long time to get through. Any strong smelling herb would probably do the trick.
