Drumroll please...

And the award for most ridiculous unitask object spotted this week goes to....

The Eggjector

Several pieces of plastic to take the pain out of peeling hard boiled eggs.

Not surprisingly, this useless piece of petro-chemical product was in mint condition at Salvos Queanbeyan.

Maybe we ought to feel really sorry for the poor fools that can't (or won't) peel their own eggs. The one that got me was in the frozen food section of the grocery store. Frozen grilled cheese sandwiches!!?? All I could think was - Anyone too dumb or too lazy to toast their own cheese sandwich ought not to breed.

How wonderful - definitely getting into chendoku (?) territroy (Japanese un-useless inventions!) and frozen toasted chess sandwiches? Puhleez!!!
Well done on the 7 things and Can assist - and how lovely to see people wearing your handiwork!

Thrilled that you've finally spotted your work in the wild! As for Eggjector... it's sad but I couldn totally see my father buying this and then my mother donating it 5 years late in it's pristine condition. Dad's such a gadget-addict!

I thought one of the most useless objects around was my SIL's hotdog heater [a wedding present 25 yrs ago - still in pristine condition]!

Oh gross! Does the egg plop out the bottom? I must admit, I hate peeling eggs because I hate eggs, but imagine cleaning that thing!!

Wow, "hygenical" egg extraction and everything! It must be good! And a bonus egg "devider"! What's not to love?

I've bought some useless kitchen gadgets in my time, but I can honestly say that I've never sunk that low. I was close a couple of times though.......
