Wow. If I stay around you bad, bad friends long enough to get the urger to do some spinning (something I haven't done for 30 years nearly!!), I know where to borrow a carder.

I have to admit, I saw a spinning wheel at Revolve better Bits on Saturday - and gave it a second glance. Then I decided to ignore it!!

But I keep on looking at these love carded dyed wool - and I suspect I may be tempted. NOOOOO I did NOT say that... I did not, I did not...

I am seriously thinking I would like to spin my own yarn. I never thought I would say that but somehow looking at people's handspun yarn makes me want to try.

Oh my. That looks to me like several christmas come at once. And I just know there's a good story to go with it.

That looks like a serious bit of hardware. Have you ever scratched yourself on the carder spikes?

Just browsing Knitty and found these tam patters. Great idea for 'spare' variegated yarns :) http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter07/PATTtam.html
