Don't panic!

It has been obvious to others for a while, but today it became clear to me - I AM A NONG.

I've been working to a going away date of 28 July. Today I find out, that I really need to go away on 21 July. My leave form - the one I filled in - confirms it. Perhaps I need a break more than I thought.

My brain is a little overstuffed and the date kind of just slipped. Not only do I lose a whole week of organisation time - I lose a weekend of organisation time.

I have no clothes ready, no projects decided on and I was budgeting my work time with an extra week in mind.

Not to worry, you are in good company. DH was doing laundry at 11pm Monday night for a business trip the next day. He's known about this trip for 6 weeks at least.

Don't Panic indeed!! Don't you hate that though?? I like to make a list, lots of lists about now: the crossing off somehow makes me think I am getting more organised!!!

I budgeted my broadband time the same way - only I thought my month finished this weekend - it doesn't - I have another week to go and have used up all my downloads - bah! I'm sure you'll get everything done - you strike me as an utterly organised person!

Shocker! I'm sure it will come together in a rush, and then you will be on leave! which is not a bad thing.

Yikes! At least this way you have to focus, no time for fluffing around!

thou art indeed a nong!!! I often do that though - think I have more time than I really do. I need to pick your brains about beanies before you go though.
