Nanna turns 90 today. Happy birthday Nan.
She's already told us that no-one at the nursing home is to know she is 90 - she will admit to 84 at most.
What should be a happy day is also a sad one. Today we bury her youngest brother.
Long time readers might remember Uncle Jack and the story of his Fair Isle cardie.

My grandpa used to love to express his age as "21 plus x".
Sorry about your loss of Uncle Jack.
Happy Birthday Nan. I'm still *cough* 29....so I know how you feel.
That was a touching love story of Roma and Jack. Thank you for sharing it.
I'm sorry to hear about your Uncle Jack ... another loss for you this year (((hugs)))
Happy birthday to your Nanna!
Sorry about Uncle Jack. It's been a tough year for you. And good for Nana. She can be whatever age she wants. My grandmother was never a day over 29. She said if it was good enough for Jack Benny, it was good enough for her.
