Wind me up
I have a wool winder!!!!! It was sitting in my letterbox when I got home this afternoon. Dad must have been under the house.
It's doing a sterling job so far. :)
I managed to down load the Christmas break photos today, so previous posts are about to look a whole lot prettier. Hope Blogger is behaving, because I got some wool to wind, baby.

does this mean you dont need me anymore? *sobs quietly* ;)
we can begin the ball winder brigade! no skein too large, no ball too unwieldy!
HURRAH!! Happy dance for the wool winder! So glad it's been unearthed and is enjoying its life being an essential tool again. Just think - a few months ago I didn't even know what a wool winder was...
I'll still need you (*pats Spidey's back gently*) - you have a yarn swift. ;)
Oh synchronised wool winding - the new Commonwealth Games Sport.
jejune, a few months ago you were borrowing my needles - now I'm borrowing yours. You progress well, Grasshopper ;)
Aaah, but will my stash EVER be as big as yours? I fear not...
I am very jealous! It's on my wish list - I also love the brand - "Toyota"!
eBay is a boon to the modern knitter. Sometimes the woolwinders sell for a ridculously high price, but you can get them for under $20 including postage.
