For those who were asking

Instructions for a moebius scarf are here - it's not the cast on I do, but it gets you something similar. I found it via Whip Up's post on the 10 Geekiest Yarn Creations on the Web.

8.5 out of the 10 are cr****et.

Oh cool, thanks Taph! I'm just trying to figure out which yarn to use now... Um, I don't want to knit any of my core stash, I'm *saving* it (my preciousss). Oh dear, I can feel myself slipping down the slippery slide!!

How would my 2 skeins of Koigu go for a moebius cowl? What do you think?

See, I'm trying to be strong and actually knit with my special wool...

Maybe do a test run on your not so precious wool, Jejune - you might not like the effect. Trust me, this technique is like that double-sided cable scarf I did last year, you feel awfully clever doing it and want to repeat the experience.
